SLROC Events & Passengers

I have had a number of questions about passengers recently. Our events are governed by rules set out by Motorsport UK which are detailed in their Year Book. (For reference, Section H, Apendix 1, Chart 7 is the main source of information)
Different events have different rules, so I admit it can become confusing, but to try and simplify...

TYRO
Unders 18's - Do not require any Motorsport Club Membership, do not require a RS Clubman License. They must be 12 to sit in the front seat(s), and can not be under 2. 2 - 11 year olds must be in the rear seats. A suitable child seat or boaster cushion should be used as per the normal rules of the road.
18 & Over - Must be SLROC or ALRC Club Member, must have a RS Clubman License
TYRO's can have multiple passengers in a vehicle

RTV & CCV Trial
Must be 14 years or older, must be SLROC or ALRC Club Member, must have a RS Clubman License (1 passanger only allowed)

Comp Safari
Must be 16 years or older, must be SLROC or ALRC Club Member, must have a RS Clubman License (1 passanger only allowed)

Green Road Runs
Are not governed by Motorsport UK and therefore the only requirement is one person in the vehicle must be an SLROC or ALRC Club Member

COVID Rules
At SLROC Passengers must currently be from the same household. Motorsport UK and the Scottish government do have rules that would allow passengers from different households, however this comes with a number of different requirements and are designed for events where a navigator must be in the vehicle. None of our events require a navigator. Those making up an officially recognised care / support bubble are considered as same household.
