as above anyone fitted a slickshift kit to there defender from synchrogearboxes?

Yup! I like it! It's not such a porridge stirrer now! Very please with it! When I got it and fitted it, the pin on the selector snapped! They let me keep the one I bought and sent another one! Great service!

fitted yesterday took about 20 mins, didnt need to adjust the springs, very impressed with it

hi allan its basically a quick gearshift kit, it makes the gearshift feel much more like a modern car rather than the huge throw on a normal defender gearbox. makes the gears more precise.

Is it for gearboxes with the remote selector housing on the top? And is it only for LT77's?

I have a R380 converted to long stick in my range rover and while the gearshift is very good, upgrades are always of interest
