right its that time again to announce it
Weird dale 2016 will be held on wednesday 22nd June until sunday 26 June ( yes really !! 4 days !! )
location as ever is Alston in Cumbria
camping available from the monday for the super keen
lanes on all days which cover Cumbria , Durham and Northumberland
also included is a marked and laid out 'trails' section in ten acres of disused quarry
over the few years since we started this , it has gone from strength to strength
2016 will be bigger and better
we dont expect all of you over all of the days , but we will be there from the monday setting up so you may turn up when you can
we will be laying on breakfast and evening meal
we urge you to book in advance when you can ( book time off from work )
there are a selection of b and b's and hotels localy for those who wish for a touch of luxury ( woooses )
but the best and most memorable things seem to happen around the campfire on a night
there will be a selection of local ales on draught on site so bring a glass
there will be toilets and showers on site this time
more details will follow in due course but you cant say we didnt give you enough notice
BTW dont take my word for it being good (i'm biased) ask those who have been before and look at the write-ups / pictures from previous doo's - it's worth the ride out
