Range Rover Classic engine change
« on: November 17, 2014, 04:38:28 PM »
I have a G plate Range Rover Classic 3.9 EFI auto with a knackered crank shaft, (200K on the clock), I have a known good 3.5 EFI from an H plate Disco manual which I am thinking of putting into the Rangey.

Anyone know what the bits are which will require swapping over? The 3.5 has the engine loom with it including but not the ECU.

Any top tips?

Many thanks

You need the ecu as well (it will run on the 3.9 but they over fuel a lot!)

Other than that both cars should be hotwire its fairly straightforward
