Nominations
This year a number of long standing members of our committee are retiring and we need new members with fresh commitment and ideas to take their place and keep the Club moving forward. The AGM is the time for you, the membership, to contribute to how the club will be run and what will take place in the coming season. The club has a very full year of events scheduled and for that to run to plan we need your help. If you would like to join the committee, we welcome any contribution large or small in whatever capacity you can offer and your new ideas! Please forward your nomination in writing duly proposed and seconded by two other Club Members, to the secretary, to reach him not later than 7 days before the AGM.
Please contact any of the current committee if you are interested, have any questions or wish to discuss any aspects of what is involved in the running of your club.
Proposals
Any proposals or topics for discussion should be forwarded, duly proposed and seconded, to the secretary not later than 14 days before the AGM. Any proposal must refer only to a single topic, be clearly worded, quote any relevant rules or regulations and be specific in what you wish to achieve.
Proposals / topics may be invited from the floor at the discretion of the chairman. Any other business which is not on the agenda will be discussed only if everyone present is in favour.
All communications to: Billy Phillips, SLROC Secretary, Spire View, Birdston, Kirkintilloch, G66 1RN.
