CCV&TYRO 12th Jan 2014 at manor powis
« on: January 02, 2014, 10:01:17 PM »
On Sunday 12th January there will be a TYRO Trial and a CCV Trial at Manor powis, Stirling

Scrutineering and safety check will take place from 0830 – 0930 we will be crossing the railway just after 940am and both events will start at 1000, please try to get there in plenty of time to let us get the paperwork done! TYRO entry fee £15 per driver, CCV Trial £15 per driver. We will be doing most of the paper work on the old road before we cross the rail way line in 1 group this is the only time that we can get in so please if you are planning on coming don’t be late, the gate will be closed and locked for the day.

As usual there are jobs to be filled both for setting up on Saturday afternoon for the TYRO & CCV and on the day of the event to help things run smoothly. Remember, sign up for a job and that's you fulfilled your championship eligibility requirements, please don't all leave it until the end of the year, or write a bit about the weekend and this will also fulfil your eligibility.

Directions
The site is just of the old Alloa road A907, from the M9&M80 services come of the roundabout take the A91 which is signposted for the A907, next roundabout 2nd off, next 1st, next 2nd road, next 2nd, next 3rd, then 3rd and that you on the A907 take the first right and that’s you on the old road please park to the side of the road facing the houses and turn all engines off as we will be sitting there for a bit.

I dont think there will be any shinys for this one, they are having work/repair problems, but there will be a few of us in Defenders, including a new one. I'm sure we can marshall ourselves if need be

I've seen something about this before, but sorry can't find it ...
What is minimum age for a passenger in a baby seat?
Maybe not suitable, my granddaughter is very keen, not quite 4 ....?
Thanks, Nigel

The plan behind the tyro is that it gets the full family out for the day. So as long as there all seated and belted as per the hight way code then alls good for us
