disco 1 10 spline diff did they change to 24 spline

hi all
can anyone tell me when and if disco 1 diffs changed from 10 to 24 splines on the half shaft. I need a pair for my series 3 rebuild and don't want to strip axels just to find its the wrong one . many thanks

rule of thumb-200tdi is 10

300tdi is 24

better wait for a grown up to confirm that  ;D

Last of the 200 TDI Disco's must also have had 24 spline diffs,I know because an "L" reg auto my son had was fitted with them.

 1993 was the change date to 24 spline so early 200Tdi is a safe bet (unless axle has been changed during its life) 10 spline Rear Axle to JA032850

24 spline Rear Axle non ABS from JA032851
