Hi all,
Both of the rear tyres on my new (to me!) 300tdi Disco are almost down to the legal limit, so time for at least two new ones fairly soon I think. The front pair are relatively good, they look nearly new. Can anyone advise on what sort of tyre I should be looking for? I'm unlikely to do much in the way of offroad driving in the Disco, but will be moving to rural Aberdeenshire in a month's time and will be using it for my daily commute, the house I'm moving to has a fairly steep and long access track to it that I don't think the gritters will ever get to in the winter - do you get (or need?) winter tyres for 4x4s?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
