A friend started this, basically to take the piss out of me, and I finished it:
I've had a Land Rover for many long years
And I've spent all my money on oil for the gears
But now all it does is send sparks up my thumb
So I never will drive the Land Rover, oh bum
And it's no, nay, never

Will I drive the Land Rover
No never, no more
I went to a garage I used to frequent
And I told the mechanic my Landy was spent
I asked him to fix it, he answered me "Nay"
Saying "That wiring's dodgy, now please go away"
I'll go back to John Craddock and buy a new coil
And I'll spend my weekend getting covered in oil
And when I have fixed it, as oft times before
Then I hope I can drive the Land Rover once more
