RTV Entry
« on: June 27, 2013, 10:18:02 PM »
Hi.

I have a D2 and was looking to enter it into a RTV.  Has a rear recovery point, seatbelts work and battery secured.  Do I need anything else?

Thanks, Alan.

I believe you should have a front recovery point as well, although I may be mistaken

Nope can't fit jate rings on a D2 with out cutting the bumper. Jemm4x4 have made D2 front recovery points give them a try.

Dave - understand that's a bit of a faff as the front of the chassis is not steel.  Therefore, requires some mods to fit something.  Best solution is probably an aftermarket bumper with recovery points built in but pricey for the age of motor.  Will try the Tyro at the end of August and if that's not enough, will consider mods for a RTV....!

Thanks anyway, Alan.
