Anyone on here familiar with the Isuzu engine ? my 110 is fitted with one , lost power a couple of weeks ago , been told it might be a head gasket by one lad another said it sounds like a valve 

 

Experience I have had with a friend,s Isuzu engined 110 was not all good, to begin with the motor was rocket powered,far faster than my then V8,then it needed a replacement turbo,next failed MOT on emissions,burning too much oil,only way to cure it was to totally strip the engine and fit new liners,one piston and all rings.I think I still have a workshop manual for it,a Vauxhall Monteray which is the same.
