James at Quothquan Workshops just outside Biggar in Lanarkshire is very good. It is mainly series and defenders I have seen him work on. Very good work, sensible advice and a decent friendly bloke. If its welding you need then give Mark on here a shout (WELDER1) he is in edinburgh and does a great job, he always has several Disco,s in and makes his own inner wing pannels. hope this helps.

thanks, i phoned 'quothquan workshps' this afternoon and spoke to james.

its not welding i was thinking about, doing a total rebuild was on my mind !

rebuilding the axels, brakes, doing some painting, engine work, electrics, new seats, gearbox, door seals locks hinges etc.
