Clutches can be a bugger to bleed because unlike brakes you cant pump them up the same way because the clutch pushes the cylinder back from its end.  Some things I have done in the past with different Land Rovers:-

Remove the slave cylinder and bolt a metal bar across the operating end so that is pushing against something solid while your bleeding it

Try sliding your foot off the clutch pedal sideways so that it returns with a bang (my old SIII used to bleed up by doing this without having to open the bleed nipple).

I once used a windscreen washer pump to pull the fluid out of the open bleed nipple, whilst pumping the pedal up and down (you need an assistant to ensure the reservoir stays full and to close the nipple) be aware that this buggers up the seals on the WW pump so use one that you can scrap later.

Use an "easibleed" tube (one that has a slit in it to act as a one way valve with the end blocked up)

Try bleeding it in stages i.e remove the pipe from the m/c and ensure you have pressure there and then work your way down through the system

Or if all else fails use a pressurised "easibleed" system.

Good luck

ZD

P.S. ensure that your assistant is pushing the right pedal.  I once spend an hour trying to bleed up the brakes on a LR only to find that my (ex) wife had been pumping the clutch.......

Is the bleed nipple at the top (above the pipe)?

10 pumps on the pedal and hold it down, release the bleed nipple and code. Another 10 pumps and release again. Keep trying that until fluid is coming through. The pressure in the air helps push things long
