I'm looking for some advice on how to replace the barrell on the rear safari door lock.  The door lock we have is circa 1984 and nothing obvious securing the barrell to the lock.  There is a very small hole that is partially obscured.  The lock is rivitted together so no obvious way of stripping to component parts.

Any comments or advice gladly received.

that very small hole (about 1-2mm) has a pin inside you push it in with a punch or similar and pull the barrel out with the key
