Bought this yesterday, all comments welcome (preferably positive), hoping to get to some events in the future, but it's a long hike from deepest darkest South Ayrshire.

If GRR doesn't take place on the 30th it's looking like Drumclog if your interested??

Thanks, yes interested in drumclog as its probably the nearest event to me at 60 miles, I don't have a huge amount of Off Road experience so would need some guidance ??
I also have a few issues to sort out on the Landy but hopefully get some progress with that this week, main one being an empty coolant tank ?? Now topped up and I am looking for leaks although when the previous owner converted the engine he didn't fit a fan for the radiator ?? He says it never overheated as has a new larger 300 tdi radiator, I have a fan that I will fit over the weekend,

I will also have to become a member again but that's a simple task,

I was the same at the beginning Donald. Looking for leaks and stuff wrong with the bloody thing. It almost became obsessive but you learn just to live and enjoy it for what it is. Saying that I know the car intimately now.

Drumclog is great fun, just turn up and drive you'll learn as you go as I did. Plenty of people to help out when we get stuck

At that distance, I would invest in the AA if you haven't done already?

Hi Stephen,

Good news is that I have found a split in the top radiator hose that was leaking so hopefully that is where the water was going.

I have another issue re fan but I wil put my question on the technical section.
