Breaking K-Series Freelander
« on: July 05, 2012, 10:09:13 PM »

As title really. Breaking an R-reg Freelander.

Engine runs spot on, no coolant loss, or overheating issues. Head Gasket was replaced by a Land Rover main dealer, at a cost of over £2000. Engine has little under 95k miles, and has a full service history

Viscous Coupling has been fully tested, and works perfectly. Front part of the propshaft is also fine.

IRD/Transfer Box again has been fully tested. No rumbles, or clunks or grinding etc. When the oil was drained, the oil came out nice and clean.

Rear diff is OK. Again, no whines or crunching etc. 1 driveshaft seal is leaking slightly, though these came be replaced for less than £5

All electrics work fine, apart from drivers front window regulator, and drivers rear door lock

All parts are available. Please email or PM for more info
