Please excuse my ignorance 

My Discovery was in for it's mot the other day and I was told that the sump was corroded and leaking.

Is this a big job to get fixed (a garage will be doing it unless someone on here would like to)?  I'm guessing I can get a replacement sump from somewhere?

Easy job, but you'll need to remaove the anti roll bar to get the sump on and off. If your stuck give me a shout

I also have an oil peak and I am starting to think I may have the same problem! Let me know how you get on with changing the sump.

The hardest part of swapping the sump is getting the oil & the gasket.... and disposing of the old oil sensibly

The actual sump is held on with two dozen bolts, and the gasket is really cheap...

Will do, although it might be a while as something else is worrying me so it'll have to get looked at first
