Defender 90 bonnet hinge bushes ???

 ??? Need help , as above ,I have a pair of bonnet hinge bushes that I am trying to fit but no amount of struggling,figuring out or swearing gets them fitted.There were no bushes fitted on the bonnet when I bought it,bbut I know somebody out there knows how to or done them.  Any help please !!!!!

remove the bonnet, slide the bushes into the bulkhead, refit the bonnet slipping the hinges into the bushes,
you cannot fit them with the bonnet on

yup get some help and put the split in bush vertical drop bonnet into bush them lower the bonnet job done.

Yep. Two person job, one either side of the motor. Remove bonnet, position bushes in the circular hinge bit so the slot is vertical, hold bonnet vertical, drop the hinges to the slots, lower bonnet to the horizonal - and re-attach bonnet stay en-route if its one of the two part fixed ones.
