MSA Seminars for event organisers
« on: November 26, 2011, 10:28:07 PM »
Every other year, the MSA run seminars for "unlicenced officials" (for us, that basically boils down to anyone who is a Clerk of Course at an event; a Chief Marshal; does signing on; or any of the event organisers).

In essence it is an opportunity for:
- people to find out why the MSA wants things done in a particular way;
- seeing where we are different, and where we're not, to other clubs;
- finding out how other groups deal with situations;
- understanding what the MSA expects various roles to do/mean (steward, CofC, scrutineer, etc); and
- learning more about the body that insures our events.

The only Scottish event is Sunday 4th March, 2012, in Perth.

If you're interested, PM me by the 4th December, and I'll take it to the committee (the club can only send so many people)
