This is from the D2 Boys Club Forum. I thought you may be interested......

Here's a handy map app that might come in useful - puts up the os map alongside google map so you can work out more clearly what is what.

Three times this last summer I had clowns drive up our farm track and then claim "I was just following my satnav" while pointing at google maps on their phone.

I'd recommend memory-maps OS/Iphone app I think its ?30. - but not their actual gps hardware, which is carp. If you are looking for good mapping GPS then its Garmin all the way.
