SIII SWB - Rear stub axle distance collar - bedding compound?

I am looking for some advice if anyone can help please.
I need to replace the distance collar because it has a groove warn into it.  Page 64-3 (section 64.15.20 para 6) of the SIII repair manual explains how to change the collar, and simply says "press on the new collar".  However on page 60-6 (section 60.25.22 para 8) which is the same repair for the front stub axle, it says "smear Bostik 722 sealing compound round the radiused corner of the stub axle where the inner bearing distance piece will seat"

I have 2 questions:

1:  Do I need to bed the distnace collar on the rear stub axle (I assume I do)?
2: I cannot find Bostik 722 anywhere.  I have Hametite Red, Hylomar Blue, or Hylomar 607 silicone.  Will any of these do as the bedding compound?

2) I use Hylomar Blue
