p38 cd changer 1998

Hi folks,

The CD changer is missing from the  boot can anybody give me any info on what I should be looking for as a replacement unit.

An Ipod :D :D
Seriously unless you are in restoration mode I would ditch the CD and go for an Ipod with an FM transmitter / holder and tune it to the Car Radio.

Frank have you tried searching on ebay?  IIRC it is an Alpine unit. If you have a "smartphone" like an iPhone then I have had one of these fitted in my Defender to replace the original radio  it also gives me a hands free bluetooth system built in and I can connect the iphone behind the head cover to use the ipod built into the phone
