I note that the Councils are to get an extra ?15m to sort out potholes after this winter. I think they will need it and more. There are some stunning holes out there now, I hit one near Brechin this afternoon which was more like a trench, yesterday the Police had a chunck of the Perth-Dundee road blocked off around another fine specimen. God help the motor-bike fraternity, hitting some of those at speed is bad enough in a 4x4 !

The weather is to blame in a lot of cases, BUT, the A907 between Blairhall and the Clackmannan bypass was recently resurfaced and the original surface/white lines have appeared about half an inch below the new surface. I'd suggest the road condition is caused by Fife council either having the resurfacing done on the cheap, or being ripped off by the contractor.
Perhaps the roads would be better if they used ALL the tarmac on them instead of pedalling it round the local houses!

Sorry guys i should not have typed that its not right to brand evryone the same. I just have had ongoing issues with certain councils and the way their staff behave towards the public. But they do need to sort the roads midlothain is real bad.
