Welcome aboard ! I had the "pleasure" of that Aberdeen ring road thing on Thursday - over two hours just to go round the city, I like the Granite City but not enough to spend 30 minutes looking at the same few houses ! Seemed to me to be all down to cars slipping on the hills.

...anyway, the right time to have a Landrover ! 
If its not broken you are not trying hard enough....

We are about 20 miles north of the city. I took the landy in to the station yesterday to pick up older daughter,  not too bad. The trouble with the traffic isn't the snow but the way these mad Christmas shoppers drive on it! Aggressive driving, not letting others change lanes, driving too close, going through red lights... I couldn't get out of there fast enough. Back to our lovely, empty, white, country roads.
