Hi Colin
As it happens I have two H/F cranes in my possession, not including the one I use for Rally Recovery. They are complete with all the fittings as originally supplied including, the pulley block, the hand winch, the anti-sway bar and the bracketry. Both have the swivel type head sheaf which allows for any slight mis-alignment in the lift/pull. There are some types where the head sheaf does not swivel therefore any mis-alignment of the hoist rope can lead to the rope slipping off the pulley wheel and jamming in the side which in turn leads to the rope being trapped. Can be very embarrassing!
Both of these cranes are intended for fitting in a vehicle and do not have running gear! although, if you are anxious you could build your very own oil rig.
