Welding in Glasgow
« on: September 25, 2018, 06:40:29 AM »
I've been poking at rust - so can anybody recommend a somebody for welding a new passenger footwell into a 90 in the Glasgow area? Repair panels supplied (YRM), just needs trimmed, prepped and welded in.

Thanks,

Euan

Thanks for the info. I hadn't got round to organising anything. Some reviews on his Facebook page make interesting reading...

Have you got an answer to your welding yet? I could do it but I'm not really mobile, near Lanark area if you can bring the car over?

Euan, if you haven't yet got your welding done, speak to Gibson Autos at Cumnock.
I take my Disco 2 there and they have welded my chassis twice.
Look at heir website and also on Facebook.
Maybe a wee bit far.

Cheers

Thanks for all the suggestions and offers. I took it to Lennie at LCS in Helensburgh. Nice neat job and not too expensive. Seam sealed,  painted, and undersealed this weekend.

Would recommend for those on the west coast.
