Hi guys. I am reluctantly selling my disco. She has cancer and I just cant figure out a way that I can fix it myself. 107,000 miles on it had the head skimmed and new head gasket put in at 96,000. New steering rack and clutch around 20,000 miles ago. on/ off road tires with 10,000 miles on them (5) bought new by me. (insa turbo traction track) 5 Matching 5 star wheels OEM. new brake pads all around 4 months ago. New snorkel. 52 inch LED roof bar 30,000 lumens 2 LED roof lights on the back. Tow Hitch. Blue grey cloth interior 5 seat. Dash is curled but I have a new one to fit. seats are dirty but in good condition. last MOT june last year however, naughty boy that I am i drove it every day till last week. got stopped and decided I better take it off the road. I had it checked by a local garage for the repairs and his first comment was ' I see a lot of these and they dont start that easy' ' this is a rare one'. Its true..dont even need the glow plugs and it starts first turn. emissions a little high but pass. I asked for the valve seals to be changed when they did the head and morons didnt due it :/ body is straight no dents. Wind jammer Blue. non abs model. all electrics work and by that i mean the lights and radio oh and the heater. everything else is mechanical.
So what does it need......£500 in new rear floor and sills from landrover genuine parts. 1300 for the guy to weld it. I would keep it if I was a better welder but I am not sadly and I just dont have a place to do it.
