Engine Management Light
« on: December 13, 2015, 04:48:10 PM »
Hey guys was driving the Defender (2.4L) back from Edinburgh to Stirling and the engine management light came on. No loss of power or anything else felt different about the vehicle. I pulled over and checked coolant level, oil etc and nothin abnormal. Anyone got any ideas what could be causing it or where i can get i put on diagnostics near Stirling?

Thanks guys. Had battery checked on Friday and was 13.2 so can't see there being an issue with it. will give gemm a call tomorrow and see if can get her hooked up to the diagnostics

I have a diagnostic tool for a puma defender, it'll read and clear fault codes.
I'm located near Balloch.

It's a terrafirma tool it cost £100 worth the investment
