Wanted Series 1
« on: February 27, 2015, 03:37:27 PM »
Putting out feelers for this.

Looking for a Series 1 landy for a project. I have the D3 so this is a tinkering project to keep beside it as the D3 is the daily driver.

I would prefer a 8* over a 10* model however, i wouldn't rule out one.

Can be non runner, in parts, or incomplete.

Just looking for a nice long term project to enjoy and restore.

Does anyone have anything that could be suitable, or know of one that fits the above description.

Post on here or send me a PM if you wish.

Thanks

Lost his number when my phone broke!

Just typical luck really.

Does anyone have anything to sell?

Friend of mine is up for selling one of his, either an 86 station wagon or an 86 soft top. The station wagon has original reg and engine etc. The soft top is fitted with a Perkins Prima, currently running on 3 cylinders, with a great chassis!

They look very nice.

Almost too nice, i fear they may be out the budget range i have.

Out of interest, how much would they be.

PM me, if you wish for the prices.

Both these vehicles are in edinburgh, the picture of the soft top is a few years old. It does have a great chassis, engine was fine, it will start but sounds like it's only running on 3. Could be injector. Gearbox 1st motion shaft is a little noisy. Pendant pedals series 3 steering box.

Bump.

Still looking.

80 or 86 if anyone knows of one going.

I've asked a few people and drew blanks or not for sale.
