Hi guys ,
My new landrover has a 2.8 iveco diesel turbo engine with intercooler, it is running great so far but I'm looking for advice re the single glow plug or thermo starter as its called.
The glow plug is working but no diesel is getting to it , there is a pipe from the pump to a small diesel reservoir fixed to the bulk head, then a pipe to the thermo starter but no diesel is getting to the thermo starter ,??
There is also a small wire which goes to a spade connection on the bottom of the reservoir but I have no idea what it is for .
Tha conversion has been professionally done and all the parts I am talking about are part of the iveco set up and not altered to fit the landrover . Landrover does start okay without glow plug but as temperatures get colder it will be needed
