I am looking for 4 x 235/85/16 tyres to fit Discovery 1 for use off road with the club.  Slightly different size considered but decent tread important.
Ideally with wheels (steel, modular, condition not too important).

Also considering changing front bumper to some sort of metal winch type bumper to give better entrance and exit angles without having to cut the existing one.

Based in Falkirk area and would travel within reason for the right items.

Hi Andrew.
Glad your not cutting the bumper, get a steel bumper with recovery points if you can. the bolts holding the bumper on are stainless and I "think" they are 8.8HT

Thats exactly the kind of bumper I am considering although hard to get second hand.  To be fair, with the lift and the type of driving I am doing, the bumper is not in much danger.  The rear wheel arches have been rubbing the tyres a bit on some of the competition stages - I should probably do something with them before bumper!

I have a steel tubular bumper for a D1.  It's not a winch bumper but has recovery and jacking points built in.  I'm in Polmont, if you want to have a look.

Now got a bumper.  Just need to solve attaching number plate before I try it on.  A bit worried it might look a bit unfinished around the wings!
