Hi, I have just got a P38 range rover which is showing an abs fault, reading the previous history it has been a fault in the past. does anyone have diagnostics which can read and clear abs faults (or tell me what the problem is) looking at forums which suggest various possibilities from brake light switch, battery, sensors, modules and more.
I don't know where to start.
can anyone help or recommend a land rover garage?

i have a plug in dianostic one where it gives code of fault and also gives option to clear fault but if it is a abs prob it wont clear if it is faulty or until fixed usually its the wheel sensors need done and cleaning them sometimes does it, im at eh558ng number 10 if you want to come by to have it plug in and can give you fault code and meaning

 I will certainly consider that offer, I am based in Largs and am going to try the cleaning of the sensors first and have seen that the relay might be fried and will get a new relay and see where that goes.

no probs hope it works  the senors themselfs can be bought from ebay  not to dear and easy to replace if thats all thats wrong with them and you can idenify which one is faulty
