:) I am looking to upgrade my 2001 P38 to allow me to take part in TYRO's and some RTV's , for example ,HD steering rods , track rod ends , diff guards , sump and tank guards if there is that option.  I had heard that for the likes of the HD steering rods and dampers that the ones which are suited to a Disco 2 are the same ???  Cheers in advance   ,,  Duncan

Dunc - I reckon you'd be OK to try a Tyro in your standard motor.  Why not give one a try - what's the worst that can happen...?!  Alan.

Definately ok for tyros, I managed the last one in a shiny D4 with rubbish road tyres. Probably best thing to start with is decent tyres.

:D Think I'll give it a bash , done quite a few Tyro's and RTV's in my 90.. Looks like the next one is the end of August...  Might go to the next RTV as a spectator just for some ideas..   Cheers Duncan
