Help required... PLEASE!!!!   I have very recently purchased a 1993 Land Rover Defender 90 200tdi (AKA Mucky)which I took Part in the Help for Heroes 4x4 European rally in in 2012 as Navigator, I'm doing it again in June this year as driver. I've never driven a Land Rover before but it is vital for my fundraising ( have raised over £25,000 in Just under a year) I take all my expenses out my own pocket and the 90 has just had to have new gear box, transmission, clutch, exhaust, alternator and many other bits for it's MOT, Still a few items required, electrics are still scary after having bits done (Something seems to be draining the batteries) been told it's a Land Rover that's to be expected lol I still can't get it started
GEMM 4X4 has recommended me to join the site for advice and help with off roading. Looking forward to the meeting members on the next off road day.

you should have a try at glentarkie over at kinross google scott off road driving centre there you can drive the coarse with a instructor that will take you through the skills needed for off road driving
