I have one on my pedal and one on the accelerator thingy in the engine so do i need another as thats two right? and if i do does anyone have a spare they could bring along and show me where to fit it. i shall of course reward your kind self.

As I understand it... you need a spring to return the throttle if the cable breaks.... and the tdi already has a spring.

I think this rule was more for carbs. If the one return spring fails on a petrol, the pedal will go to the floor and the car will run away. Ive fitted a second spring at the carbs on both my def 90 and lightweight.
