SIII SWB Tub Floor Supports
« on: October 22, 2012, 09:43:39 PM »
Hopefully someone can help with the following:

Do the 3 steel floor supports either: a)fix to the chassis upstand platforms and fix to the tub floor perimeter flange or; b) only fix to the tub floor perimeter flange  and float above the chassis upstands?  I have to replace mine as they are all shot and badly corroded.  It looks as though they just float, but it would be stronger if they were fixed.

Cheers, Clive.

As far as I can remember from when I had my tub off, they are only fixed to the tub and then the rubber pads on them sit on the chassis up stands.

I agree with the above. You can get replacment galvanised struts from YRM.
