Help in Aberdeen
« on: October 27, 2012, 01:49:32 PM »
Hi

Does anyone know of a good Landie garage in Aberdeen.
I've a friend who's got a Series 3 that's got a pretty serious sounding engine problem in Aberdeen and needs the services of a decent garage to have it sorted out for him.
Any help would be appreciated.

Dave

Hi Dave
I don't know about Aberdeen, but I live south of Stonehaven near Laurencekirk and have been in touch very recently with a good garage in Edzell. Sam Mackay is the guy you need to speak to and he can be contacted on 01356 648364. This garage services all the landys from the neighbouring estates so know what they're doing.
Hope this helps.
Jim

Ps. I've just bought an old series 3 in bits and have been swithering whether to get the old 2.25l diesel refurbished, replace it with a 200Tdi or just pop it back in when the time comes and see if it runs. Any advice please?

Hi  My vote would be for a 200TDI, well worth the effort.

Hi everyone,

Thanks to you all for the suggestions.
I've passed on the info. So hopefully that'll get him back on the road pretty soon.
Much appreciated, thank you all so much again

Regards
Dave
