Rented Garage Space
« on: September 14, 2012, 08:31:28 PM »
Hi All,

Just looking at the massive empty barn across the yard on the farm and was considering putting some garages into it for rental purposes.   Does anyone rent garage space at the moment?  I would really appreciate if you could answer a couple of my questions. What size is it and how much is it setting you back at the moment?? What is there in the way of security?  Finally, would there be much interest from the forum users the garages would be in the Alloa area?

Thanks,

Robin

I'm from alloa and would be very interested in a large space. Preferably big enough for 4 vehicles.

Robin, Stirling Farmers Market is looking for space to store two trailers that hold the stalls and set-up kit for the Mart, I'd be interested in having a chat ?

Thanks,

Gene.

Hi All,

Thanks for all the replies, currently the barn is a mess and full of junk that needs scrapping.  I was just trying to gauge interest to see how viable putting a bit of infrastructure in to accomodate some garages would be.  I won't be in a position to rent any of the space until easter next year at the earliest, but the volume of replies so far is encouraging!!

I'll keep you posted if I manage to get it organised.

Cheers,

Robin

Rather than put garages in, why not make the barn watertight and secure. Then rent floor space.
You could even put a four post ramp in and start a landrover maintenance facility / club.

cheers
