Defender Bulkhead
« on: August 09, 2012, 09:28:39 PM »
The bulkhead on defenders seems to be an area that's prone to rusting.  I'm looking to inject some cavity wax but would like some advice on what areas to target and how to get the wax into them.

Thanks

Alan

If you un-bolt your door hinges, you can spray wax in through the hinge bolt holes to help pro-long the door pillars.
The rest is luck

The area just below the windscreen hinges tends to rust first so try get some up in there.

Thanks for the advice.  One last question.  Whats the easiest route to the area under the windscreen.  Is it via the top hinge or is there another way in?  I'll be using the long lance supplied with the Bilt Hamber S50.

Thanks again

Alan
