I am looking at getting the above changed in the next few years as there are more holes in it every few weeks. As it sits on a galv chasis i was looking at ashtree to supply (expensive). Is there anyone on the forum with any recommendations of a top quality body shop that will do a 1st class change including the etch prime and finishing job for the galv bulkhead and maybe even supply it? In part it will be a small restoration with bits of other work being done aswell. I stay on the west coast but will leave the truck anywhere if it is a fine job.Thanks in advance for any replies!! 

Try talking to Strathearn Engineering at Auchterarder. Did a great job on my galv chassis.

we fitted an ashtree bulkhead for a guy was not impressed with the quality as there was holes that had been welded over and had to be drilled and every hole that should be square for the dash clips was round and the middle hole for the washer was completely missing which meant we had to drill a newly galvy'd bulkhead not the best.  We have another guy now will get his details for you and let you know he is also cheaper than ashtree..

Thanks for the heads up. It is a big outlay of cash and you would expect it to be perfect. Is the new supplier in Scotland? I visited strath earn eng and spoke to them about the partial renovation, they didn't tell me anything like that about as tree just that they would receive the galv one and send the old one back to them. Look forward to getting the new supplier info from you and thanks for the advise.

the supplier we use is in Ireland he ships anywhere in the uk, his prices start at £550 and £40 PnP he has a waiting list of 3 weeks at present..

Lenny, who is it you are referring to, are they new bulkheads, reconditioned?? Do you have any contact details?

hello they are reconditioned bulkheads the boy got in touch for me to advertise for him will give him a shout for you guys.  and to see what he has available as he wants to sell through us. but will see what he says tommorow and get some pics.
