Some news for those who remember me

Hi all,
I haven't been around here for a while. I've been very busy over the last year. I thought I'd give you a small Land Rover update.
Recently I bought a second Defender: a 90 300tdi hardtop called Oliver to keep company to Yorkie. There was a little work to do on it and I still need to change a wheel bearing and all disks/pads. I bought it for our outings because they're hard on the body and I don't want to damage Yorkie (who collected a number of scratches early in the year). Also being a 90 it's much easier to manoeuver in the forests then the 110.
During the year, we had a few outings. For the curious, here is what green road runs look like in Southwestern France:

You should come and sample our tracks (though they're a bit harder on the cars than the SLROC equivalent). The main difference you'd notice are the lunches: 2 to 3 hours, with tables, communal food, wine, and even oysters.
The weather helps, of course

hi Cedric, good to hear from you - looks great in SW France, and certainly a bit more challenging than our GRRs.
Right folks, there's an idea for our next GRR - who's bringing the oysters?
