Rear Crossmember
« on: April 01, 2012, 08:02:23 PM »
I was having a poke and my member is a bit worse for wear, but only at one side.

The centre section is really sound and maybe just the n/s 1/4 is really gone.  Can you buy repair sections? or do you have to get the whole crossmember?

Any help / direction would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance

Graham

hi

rather than try to replicate the original shape, it's easier to replace the whole thing.
You can get a replacement for less than £200
Is it a 110 or 90

Thanks for the quick repsonse Geoff, it's a 110.

I've found various places selling complete crossmembers with and without chassis extensions.

I'm guessing it's a big job to replace??

I'm going to have to learn how to weld again :o
