Right, was whacking off the clutch pedal on my 93 RRC to make it an auto and the immobiliser goes off, the hazards lights just continuously flash. Tried ign on/off and locking the door (central locking now stopped working at the same time) and unplugging the AMR 2106 unit but no joy. Any ideas muchly appreciated.

it may have a switch in the footwell that is designed to operate in a crash, cant mind its name, you may have knocked that,
happened to me on a 300tdi disco when i hit a huge pothole, it unlocked the doors and flashed the hazards but didn't imobilise the vehicle

Well couldn't find anything. So swapped to my Disco AMR2106 and that went the same way after a minute or so...!!!!! Now trying to find info on either reprogramming or bypassing......oh the joy.

I dont know if this will help look at part number AMR 4956 is designed to shut down the alarm system if it is what you need and cant get hold of one I have one sitting hear. They cost around ?20

Thanks for that but it looks like that unit won't suit me as I have the one push button AMR2106 unit. I'm going to try and reset with the key and door locks etc then if that dosen't work then goodness knows.....!!!!
