Hello,

thanks for your replies etc - sorry not to get back to you sooner...I've been stuck in Stornoway for a couple days by fog!

I don't do any events - I'm still sort of at the stage of rebuilding my Defender (I finally fitted a replacement steering guard on the weekend!)  I don't really know anything about events - I didn't think 110's were very well suited to that sort of thing...

I considered the re-trim option, but a couple of people I asked about the Britpart kit weren't enthusiastic about the quality of the replacement vinyl - then when some Saab seats came up, I went for those instead...

There is quite a bit of room under the seats to access the battery/ECU boxes, it turns out - you couldn't remove the batteries if you needed to, though.  I've decided to just bolt the seats down using m8 rivnuts - I wondered about using bike-wheel quick-release bolts/levers, but I don't think there'd be enough room...

  Thanks for your help,

Paul
