Driving in town today and noticed loud bang noises when driving over bumps, at first thought it was the spare wheel on the roof rack bouncing about or worse a snapped shocker. However to my horror after pulling over and investigating i found the rear body mount bolts had snapped off .

These bolts are the ones found on the inside lip  and not the ones found on the outside rear seen from behind. Has anyone come across this before and the best way to access the holes to put in new bolts ?

I know from my dads replacement crossmember on his 300TDi that the bracket was welded on, why the change ? :p
