MSA Radio defect

Hi,

My car mounted MSA radio sometimes cant receive. I know others are transmitting because i can hear it on the handheld.
Mabey the first few seconds is lost then it might start working.
Any ideas, and who can fix it

Have you made sure the squelch is set correctly, might be an auto squelch which kicks in after you set it up to start and if the starting level is high you would get this.
