Hi
Have been given the task to sort a disco that has indicator issues. The drivers side indicators all work but they flash fast on a right turn on the stalk. Other side is ok. Whne hazards are on all lights both sides work as they should.
So far i have changed the indicator solanoid in the fuse box. changed the indicator stalks. changed fuses. all bulbs work fine. Even tried earthing the bulbs direct it kept blowing fuses when we tried that.
Ive run out of ideas

I would suspect something is shorting the circuit to earth on the RHS wiring which causes the voltage to discharge quicker making the lights flash fast. Check all the wiring where it can get snagged or caught, a continuity test with your multimeter from the live side to earth may find a fault. Can you explain the direct earthing method and what was happening? Was this when the lights were switch "on"?

We just ran a wire directly to each bulb and earthed it to check. Not too good at electrics so thought give it a try. Blew the fuses when you turned the stalk to signal. Ill check the wiring see if anything looks out of place and have a voltmeter.. Thanks for the advice.

Scott have you checked the wattage of the bulbs as this will effect it.
