Hello,

  I was asked to post a few pictures of my side lockers - I thought it'd be easiest if I put them in a new thread (rather than half a mile down an old one)...


The bottom right two pictures show the bracket that secures the locker to chassis from different angles.  You can see the bolts that secure the locker to the bracket at the back of the locker in the top two right pictures.

Measurements are as follows:

Rear of front door -> front of locker : 22cm
Bottom of locker -> bottom of sill : 5.3cm
Locker length : 53cm
Locker height : 38.5cm
Locker depth : 31.5cm

Just seen the pictures you took of the lockers.  Thanks for taking the time to do that, Looks like quite a professional job... Wonder what company done them for the utility?
My Quest to find suitable materials goes on.... But I now have a better understanding of a good setup...

Wouldn't it have been Land Rover Special Vehicles division?

the side lockers i have came off ebay brand new, the guy making them was supplying foley special vehicles with them for expedition use and did 2 sizes
they are mounted by riveting a flange all the way round the cut out in the side panel and then sit on a bar bolted from the cill across to the chassis fitted in place of the lightweight one already there

  it is a "Special Vehicles" 110, so I guess they fitted them.
