brake master cylinder swap

 i have just baught a newer disco, and this one has abs, my old one im breaking didnt, they are both 300's, but the new one the brakes arebad, really really bad, i think it might be the master cylinder, the servo is doing as should, but the pedal is mega soft and has a load of travel to stop. i was wondering if the non abs master cylinder would go onto a abs disco ok to see if that was the trouble?? any advice would be great!

try bleeding the brakes properly for ABS i had the same problem with my disco and a rrc with abs  both had pipes replaced ;) ;)
