heater only working on full

Ok guys i know i am asking alot of questions lately but hopefully other people are benefiting!!

heater only works on full power is this the resistor in the fan and can it be changed ??

Hi Bill

I had the same problem, it was the switch not making a good contact inposition 1.
Either take it out and check contacts or take it out and replace with a toggle switch to get you by. It's only a power out1 & out2 spade terminals.

Things to try:

- Check that both wires from the switch to the motor are still connected at both ends, and have not snapped.

- Open up the switch (with care; they're not designed to be opened up). Clean the contacts, and smear a bit of Vaseline on them (to repel moisture in the future).

I had exactly the same problem as you, and it was caused by the contacts in the switch being manky. A voltmeter or ohmmeter is your friend, for figuring out where the problem lies.

Look on the bright side, it's better being stuck on full than not working at all this week!  :D
